back where we belong

Pickle People:

Spring has sprung (at least here in NYC) and so it’s high time
to pack up the EZ-UP tent and head on back to our home away from
home at Union Square Greenmarket.  I’ll be there every Wednesday starting March 29th at 16th Street and Union Square West, selling pickles, telling tall tales (guaranteed taller than last year) and watching the world go by.  I’ve even got a fetching new stingy-brim Panama hat, and a special new swiveling
guest chair, so stop by and plop yourself down for a bit and say hello.  And tell me a tale.  Spread the word around… April showers bring pickle power!

Onwards,

Rick

british invasion!

Friends:

In 1776, America declared its independence from Britain.  Now in 2006, 230 years later, we’re declaring our DEPENDENCE on Britain… well, on their cheese anyway.  That’s right, March is BRITISH CHEESE MONTH at Zingerman’s, and Rick’s Picks is proud to be part of the celebration.   Zingerman’s is featuring our GT 1000s, the curried green tomato condiment, as the must-pair pickle with their wide assortment of top-notch British cheeses.    And this Saturday, March 11 from 10 AM – 3 PM Rick’s Picks and Zingerman’s invite you to stop by the shop and sample the pickle and cheese combos.  We’re sending Cousin Dan to represent Rick’s Picks, and he promises to festoon himself in an outfit that pays equal tribute to British cheese and Rick’s Picks.  So forward this email to all your pals and hustle on down to Zingerman’s this weekend or sometime this month… there’s only 21 days left!
